Izzy Video 239 – Rack Focus Effect in Motion 5

As video creators, we’re always looking for ways to add visual interest to our videos.

One of the tools we use is depth of field, controlling what is in focus and what is not.

When we’re creating animations in Motion 5, we can use it there as well.

In this new video I demonstrate how to create a “rack focus” effect where we shift focus from one object to another in the same frame.

Even though we’re using virtual cameras instead of real ones, we can still do this in Motion 5, and it creates an interesting effect.

Naturally, along the way I share plenty of other tips as well.

I hope you find the video helpful!
