Intro to Video

Please note: If you’re already an Izzy Video Member, this course is NOT for you because you already have access to this content.

I have received many requests from viewers asking me to create a course for video beginners, something for a person just getting into video who does not plan on buying big expensive gear such as lights, diffusion panels, shotgun microphones, and so on. Is there any way for this person to access only the archived videos that apply to them?

Now there is. :-)

If you’re new to video, or you just want to learn the fundamentals, my new course called “Intro to Video” will help you:

  • Learn how to operate a camera
  • Learn fundamentals like getting a good exposure using F-stop, shutter speed, and sensitivity
  • Learn how to compose a nice frame so you capture great video
  • Learn how to capture better family video
  • Learn how to add energy to your videos
  • Learn how to find great locations for shooting video
  • Learn where to get music for your videos
  • And more…

There are more than 20 videos in this course (selections from the Izzy Video archives) as well as text that will help you get a grasp of the basics of video.

How much does it cost?

The price for the course is only $50, and you can sign up here.

FAQ

How long will I have access to the course?
You will be able to access the course for one year.

I’m already an Izzy Video Member. Should I buy this course?
No, you shouldn’t. You already have access to all of these videos, so that would be a waste of money. ;-)

I’m trying to decide if I should become an Izzy Video Member. Is this course a good place to start?
Maybe. If you already know a lot about video, then you should become a member. This “Intro” course will likely be beneath you.

However, if you’re new to video, then you can start here, and then upgrade to a full membership later if you choose.
