How to Use Compressor with Final Cut Pro X to Make Chapter Markers – Izzy Video 214

Izzy Video 214

It’s true that you can’t make chapter markers directly in Final Cut Pro X (at least for now – maybe someday in the future?), but you can in Compressor.

Chapter markers give your viewers the ability to skip to certain places within the video, so they’re useful – especially for longer videos. This works for DVD’s as well as downloadable videos, such as Quicktime files.

This tutorial will show you a sample workflow you can use to add chapter markers in your videos.

I hope you find it helpful!

Using compressor to make chapter heading works outstanding. The ease of use is great. What software do you recommend to make the DVD because IDVD is no longer supported by Apple.
