How I Backup, Archive, and Catalog My Video Projects – Izzy Video 189

Loading the player …

Video can be a huge hassle to manage.

  • The file sizes are enormous, so they fill up your hard drives fast.
  • They’re easy to move, duplicate, misplace, and generally difficult to track.
  • Hard drives are notoriously unreliable, and yet we store hours and hours of valuable video assets on them.

These are just some of the problems.

Of course, when there’s problems like this, there are also solutions. The additional problem though is that existing software and hardware solutions tend to be very expensive.

The one person video shooter (professional or hobbyist) will likely not want to invest in a big expensive system.

So what do you we do?

Well, over the past several weeks I’ve been using a system that I pieced together from other methods, and it has been working well for me. A few days ago, I held a webinar to share my system, and I recorded it and posted it in the member’s area (along with the more than 180 other videos already there).

The above video is just a trailer. If you want the full version of the video (more than 30 minutes of useful information), log into the member’s area if you’re a member, or if you haven’t joined yet, go check out the membership information page.

    Hello Izzy.
Congratulations for the great work you do.  I have been reading all your posts…
I took the liberty of leaving a message on your voicemail.  Would you be able to tell me which font type you used to write the title of the video (How I backup, Archive…)?
I really liked this font type…
Many thanks in advance for your help.

I’m not sure which font it is. It’s the default one for that theme in Keynote.

Thanks for the kind words. :)

    Hi, Izzy!

Thanks a lot for your help!

I found the theme in Keynote. The font type is “Helvetica Neue”.

Once again, congratulations for this wonderful job!

    Emerson.
