I don't want to have lots of "rules" for the forums, but to help keep things on track, I think it's smart to have some guidelines. So here's a few:
These forums are for ideas, strategies, and sharing. If you're trying to get ideas on how to shoot something, we'll try to help. If you're trying to figure out a piece of equipment to purchase, we'll try to help strategize. The forums are more about ideas, strategies, brainstorming, being creative, and sharing.
We haven't had problems (as far as I know) with people being rude to each other, and that's great! Let's continue that!
Izzy only personally checks into the forums occasionally. Other members tend to jump in and help get questions answered too.
If you have more than one question, please post them in separate threads. This will make it easier for people to search and find answers to their questions.
Please avoid posting affiliate links.
This is not a technical support forum. If you're trying to troubleshoot, or deal with problems having to do with software or equipment, please check with the manufacturer/developer. For example, if you're troubleshooting Apple's Final Cut Pro, check the official Final Cut Pro forums.
Okay, I think that should do it for now. I might update this periodically.
Naturally, if you don't feel like you can post according to these guidelines, then please don't post. Otherwise, see you inside!
All the best,
Izzy
