Capturing Raw Emotion

Candid video can be entertaining because of the raw emotion you sometimes get.

I love what Josh Leo does as he proposes to his girlfriend. It’s funny and moving. As an audience, we see the raw authentic emotion.

It’s hard to get this type of thing in a studio environment!

By the way, congratulations, Josh, on your recent engagement.

    I’ve been enjoying your video podcast for quite a while now on my Ipod. Good stuff.

    This is a great little video. Well shot and good editing. It is also my hometown and yes we do surf Lake Michigan in late fall and early spring. It’s not uncommon to have days with sustained west northwest winds of 30-50 mph with 12 to 16 food waves sometimes.

    BTW, the guy he was supposedly going to interview is home boy Vince Deur. Vince has shot and produced a DVD video called “Unsalted”. It’s about surfing the great lakes and is well done. His website is http://www.unsalted.tv/ if you’d like to check it out.
