One of the most simple types of videos to make is an animated photo montage. It’s easy because if you have a lot of photos and some music, you can make one. You don’t even need actual video.
Of course, if you add the Ken Burns effect to your photos, it adds more energy and intensity than if you have just a static photo.
In this new tutorial, I demonstrate the basic workflow for creating an animated photo montage using the Ken Burns effect. I show the workflow in Final Cut Express, but it would also work in Final Cut Pro, and the main concepts apply to any editing software.
