Who says that video production can’t be a family activity? ;-)

I get requests for Motion tutorials all the time, and it’s been a while since I’ve released one, so I thought we’d have a little fun in this week’s episode. In this installment of Izzy Video, I demonstrate the steps you take in Motion to turn a face into a monster’s face. The technique uses motion tracking and keyframed filters. I hope you have as much fun with this technique as we did.

Thanks for this, but it all goes wrong for me once I add the clone layer.

I follow every word with absolute precision – but when I make the clone layer, it simply does not behave in the way you say it does. Are there any hidden settings I need to be watching out for?

  2. Mark Turner says:

(to clarify a little.. the clone seems to create a freeze frame, and I cannot work out how to overlay the mask so what is inside appears as the corrected color, and what is outside appears normal…)

  3. Adam says:

I had the same problem as Mark, but I started the process over it worked out ok.. not as good as the demonstration, but close..
