Controlling soft light is difficult because it tends to spread out everywhere. For the first members-only episode in February, I do a quick intro to the soft box. This is one of the best tools for both softening and controlling a light. I show how to assemble one, and what it looks like on the inside and outside.

When it comes to lighting, a soft box is one of the most important tools to have. I use them more than I use barn doors.
