Thank you all for the kind words!

Steve, I believe your dilemma is a fairly simple one to deal with. If I were you, I'd edit and export the video clip in the final version you want to send, then upload it to a web server (almost anything will do) and have the receivers simply download it from the web.

Another option would be to get an FTP address from them with your own unique username and password, and then FTP it up to their server.

Finally, you could always burn the video to a CD and mail it to them.

Sending via tape would work too. I agree with you that emailed versions would be too small and poor quality.

You certainly have many options to choose from. Best of luck in your new endeavor!

Sincerely,

Israel

Hi Izzy,
Just saw my first one of your tutorials on remapping and was hoping you might provide some good advice. I am a reviewer for the www.kenstone.net and www.lafcpug.org sites which are both FCP based editing sites. The problem with being a reviewer is that most folks and companies think you are an expert at everything and that is far from the truth. Put Maya in front of me and I wouldn't know where to begin. I have recently been asked to make some tutorials similar to yours and purchased SnapZ Pro to facilitate that. These will, like yours, go up on the web for a company up north. Here's where the questions come in. I will need to send these tutorials either by tape or email. If I make them small enough for email, I believe the video quality might be poor. If I import them into FCP from the SnapZ QT files then that would leave just exporting them back out to tape. I guess I am just not too sure how to approach this and was hoping you might have some suggestions for me.
I hope I am not imposing too much.
    Regards,
	Steve Douglas
