Wow, now that is exactly what I need to know in about a week. I will be filming some footage in the dark with a lot of race cars going by. I assume these settings can mostly only be done on semi-pro cameras? I have a Sony mini DV, and other then the auto focus, I can´t find anything else to adjust….

But great tips never the less!

P.s. I am supprised how often izzyvideo is releasing new episodes lately, I love it!

Very timely and definitely didn’t see a bonus episode coming. Great job as always and I will try that tonight.

I love the way that this show went but i noticed that there is a function on my camera for fireworks. Can I just use that? Or does that not work well?

    Loving your show!!
I was wondering if you could touch upon your workflow with regards to storage. I have plenty of extra hard drives for storage but my filing system is inconsistent. How should one structure his video filing system, such as naming folders and backing up data?

I am loving your work. Simple. Clean and to the Point with just a hint of humor and creativity to keep us coming back. I am trying to figure out where to put my vote about creating a podcast. I looked, but not under every nook and cranny. Also thanks to you I found out about podcast alley which helps me find what I am looking for. However, there is a disconnect in info about how to get the podcast in iTunes. This is one I was interested in and it will come up but not inItunes. http://www.chicagodefender.com/podcast/rss.xml

    I’ll keep searching.

    Susette,

Thank you for the kind words regarding the podcast.

You can add almost any podcast to iTunes by doing the following steps:

    1. In iTunes, click on the “Advanced” menu.
    2. Then click on “Subscribe to Podcast”.
    3. Then paste the address of the RSS feed, in this case, http://www.chicagodefender.com/podcast/rss.xml.

And TADA! You’re subscribed. Give it a shot. That should work.

I’ve seen nearly all of the videos on this website and it has helped me a great deal. The other reason why I’m pumped/excited is because I believe you and I have the same Camcorder (Canon GL2). So it’s really awesome to see what my cam can do. Its a recent purchase so I haven’t played with all of the features just yet.

Keep up the good work and Thank You.
