Creative thinking can sometimes rescue errors in video footage. In Episode 12, I show you how to use Cut Away shots to fix problematic video.
Thank you to everyone who has been writing all those nice things about Izzy Video in the Customer Review section of the iTunes Music Store. I really appreciate all the support.
Also, thank you for the the votes on Podcast Alley. The month is almost over, but if you haven’t voted for Izzy Video on Podcast Alley yet in December, would you mind hopping over to www.podcastalley.com and putting in a quick vote? I sure do appreciate it.
Noell seems to think Episode 12 is one of my better episodes. I’m curious to hear what you think . . .

In Episode 11, I show you how different microphones have dramatically different results while shooting Digital Video. Trinity is a trooper and sings for several minutes, even though she is sick.
Update: Somebody wrote a nasty thing in the Customer Review area for Izzy Video in the iTunes Music Store. I wonder if he watched the show before leaving those comments . . . Hmm, not very nice.

Episode 10 already! I hope you all are enjoying watching these episodes as much as I enjoy making them. I look forward to it every weekend.
In this episode, I show examples of key light positions, and introduce the concept of key lights.
Everyday I receive feedback, comments, and questions via email and on izzyvideo.com, and I have to say thanks for all the communication! I apologize that I have been unable to get back to everyone who has contacted me, but I promise that I read everything. Some of the questions require research before I will be able to respond. Please be patient with me. Running Izzy Video is an evening and weekend project for me, so the time I can devote to it is limited (although I work on it during every spare minute).
For those of you who are Mac users, you might be interested to know that Izzy Video has been accepted as a channel on DTV. Please visit their website to see Izzy Video episodes in much larger formats, as well as other video podcasts unrelated to mine.

In this video podcast episode, I describe hard and soft light and demonstrate how to soften sunlight. I’m hoping I don’t confuse everyone with the first part.

This is a special midweek bonus episode. Normally I only put episodes out on weekends, but this week I had a little extra time to make a second one. Episode 08 is very simple, but hopefully answers some of the questions I’ve been getting via email about what types of filters are available. This is certainly not all-encompassing, nor is it very complex. It’s a simple demo of different filters.
The music in this episode is by Jim Fidler, courtesy of music.podshow.com. You can download several of his songs for free, and use them in your own podcasts, if you’d like.
Also, the set of Final Cut Pro filters I used in the video can be purchased from www.nattress.com. I am not in any way affiliated with nattress.com, other than the fact that I am a happy customer of theirs. They are not a sponsor.
